Ari: I chose USD because of its great reputation, the chance to earn a dual degree with Monterrey TEC and its strong focus on ethical leadership and global business. These were key factors that made USD stand out for me. The Knauss School of Business offered the perfect blend of academic rigor and real-world application. Q: Which Course Had the Greatest Impact on Your Career?
Ari: The course on “Negotiation” with Professor Craig Barkacs had the greatest impact on my career. For example, during a pivotal business deal at SensFlo, I applied the BATNA (Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement) framework to identify alternatives and negotiate a partnership that expanded our market reach. These lessons have been instrumental in shaping my professional journey and establishing long-standing business relationships.

This hands-on experience highlighted how cultural nuances shape decision-making and solidified my ability to think globally. This mindset has been crucial in my career, especially in my current role at SensFlo, where I work with international clients and partners to drive innovation and efficiency.
